Listening through the NT
Starting on August 27th and ending on October 5th, our church will be listening through the entire New Testament in forty days. It takes 28 minutes a day and, we believe, will draw us closer to God and better equip us to serve and glorify Him and enjoy Him forever. During the forty days, there will be listening groups meeting once a week. There is a sign up sheet on the welcome table for these groups divided by night of the week and location in the city. There are also more resources listed online and northsideabq.org/you’ve-got-the-time, including a daily schedule. Listening CD’s are also on the back table. Please limit one per family.
Prison Ministry
The Wings Ministry, wingsministry.org, ministers to inmates and their families, though a weekly dinner for families, community parties, and prison parties. We can help serve by providing food for a weekly dinner or assisting with a community or prison party, which requires a background check. The next prison party is on October 2nd at the Springer Correctional Institute in Springer, NM. Contact David Perkins if you are interested in serving.
Potluck
We will be having a send off potluck for Darryl and Sharon next Sunday, the 12th, following church service.
Memorize Scripture to Song
Our very own Andy Cook has cooked up a very easy way to memorize Scripture - by singing it! Visit the church website (www.northsideabq.org) to learn scripture songs.
Help in the Nursery
